you can still go but i suggest you call the doctors office and ask them. some doctors dont want to do exams while you are having your period. others dont mind. they can do a better exam when you arent on the period.

You have to reschedule. They should have told you that when you signed up for the appointment. Reschedule for the week after your period in case you decide to have a pap.

Why would you not opt for to inform your physician about fears and concerns you've previously having an exam? Why make it worse for your self, in case you communicate issues through mutually with your physician, she will manage to help ease you through the exam, in case you do not tell her she would not recognize how that can help you you. you may have a nurse interior the room, and they can make it as comfortable for you as conceivable, yet you would possibly want to say something. She's not likely to imagine otherwise or badly of you in case you talk your previous which includes her.

You can still go. I've done it, my doctor just placed an extra thick pad under me during the procedure. She seemed like it was perfectly normal. I'm sure you won't be the first patient your doctor has seen who is menstruating.

Most offices will ask that you reschedule, though the best idea is to call and ask.

yes, it is embarrassing and uncomfortable at the best of times, but you know that you are not bleeding a stream by the 4th day, right? they do them all the time during menstruation. if you want to feel less anxious i would suggest that you learn the basics of Emotional Freedom Technique -- it is easy to learn and easy to use and will give you a calmness that will allow you to be gentle with yourself in such situations as you are facing tomorrow-- you can download the free Get Started Package at http://tinyurl.com/yh5zhu
All the best!

I would call your doctor and ask them. Most doctors will make you reschedule, but it could be different. I hope this helps.

I think while its possible you can still take the exam ...You will feel better waiting a few days .... Some drs rquest that you do wait ...You tend to get swollen while on your period, and it could hinder anything they are looking at....Me personally, I would wait ...
