They have been used for years to promote hate,

Also, by the way, Judaism is a religion, not a race. So, there are American Jews and Christians , same with France, England and every other country.

It would piss me off if any of that crap were true. The protocols of Zion is a piece of garbage written to promulgate the ridiculous theory that the Jewish people were trying to take over the world by insidious means. It seems inevitable for it to happen, assuming the two societies continue on status quo. Did you ever think the French would turn on Americans, or the Germans? Ok, dumb question there.
Unfortunately, as issues in the middle east intensify, it seems inevitable. If something happens between Israel and the rest of the Arab world, (without instigation or participation by the US), Israel is going to request aid from the US.
At first glimpse, you would think the US would jump right to their side. However, that may be the last thing we want to do, if only to avoid war on a larger scale. A US backed Israeli war would only add fuel to the fire, and unite more, if not all, of the Muslim/Arab countries in the Middle East. This in turn would spark WWIII.
So that being said, if Israel were to request help, and we did not provide it, we would be having to protect ourselves from that side of the spectrum.
NO Win situation.
