This story includes an 'evil' character named Michael (possibly Michael Devlin) and a character named Shawn Devlin (an possible alias of Shawn Hornbeck during the four-and-a-half years he was kidnapped). Does anyone know who wrote this story and why it has so many strange details in common with the Michael Devlin, Shawn Hornbeck, and Ben Ownby case? Copy and paste this link and read the story.....

That is f***** up! There is so much more to this story then we know. What a freakin horror. Who the hell is the guy that wrote it and I wonder if anybody knows about it, investigators that is. Did you comprehend this part " They were a family, in all sense of the word except for actual kin relations. A rag-tag bunch, they’d met up slowly over the years, starting about two centuries ago. She’d been the fourth addition to their group, coming after Martina and Jacob and their founder of sorts Michael." Like he was starting a family and maybe these kids were part of it. Hopefully the investigators see this.

Good Lord. Do you think this is a coincidence? I checked out the link. It gave me chill bumps. Shawn Hornebeck did take Michael's last name and was going by Devlin...this was on the news last night.
He even visited the web site his parents set up to help find him...he emailed the site and asked "how long are you going to search for your son"? He signed it Shawn Devlin...I don't know if this "story" has anything to do with this case but if it doesn't....it sure has a lot of similarities.

First of all I have never been kidnapped but I would imagine that it would be a very scary thing to have to go through. We have no idea what this man said to Shawn or did to him for four years. He was probably threatened in some way. He was just an 11 year old kid. Maybe the guy threatened to kill his family. There is an explaination out there we just have to wait and see what it is. I'm just very glad that he was found alive and that he is finally home with his family.

Are you referring to a true story of a small boy disappeared at age 7, it was called "My Name Is Steven", this child was with this predator until he was a teenager, then one night this predator snatched another small boy and brought him home, only then did Steven get the courage to run. He said he was not going to allow this predator do what this evil man had done to him!

This is bizarre, and yes, the authorities are familiar with it now because I just called and reported it. Hopefully this might shed some insight.

Actually, I had not seen this.......................thanks for posting it is very interesting. If it is legit, it sheds some light on his thoughts of Michael and the fear he may have had to make him stay.
