Probably someone who comes out of nowhere, like Carter did in 1976.

But Obama has a real chance, if he doesn't have any skeletons in his closet.

The war is going to drag down the only Republicans that might have a chance of winning, including McCain. Guliani could win, but he is not a flaming Christian wingnut, so he won't make it past the GOP primaries.

The Democrats could run Satan and he'd beat whoever the Republicans throw at them. They don't stand the chance of a snowball in hell on July 4th. Obama scares me - not enough experience. Right now, he's riding the Kennedy Express - a charming, youthful candidate. And he just happens to be against the war and that doesn't hurt. But where does he stand on other important issues such as illegal immigration? Does anyone know?

WAY too soon to know, 1st off you don't even know that 1 of them will be the Dem nominee, there are several other candidates.

2nd, a lot can happen between now & the 08 elections. At this point 12 years ago, vert few people gave Clinton much chance to be reelected.

Neither. Hillary has way way to much scandal behind her and Obama is way to inexperienced. Edwards would be the best choice but he's to wimpy. Guess you'll have to go with the Republicans!

Unfortunately, judging by American opinion, a Democrat will most likely win the presidency in 2008
