According to Sen Chuck Hagel the whole Congress and Senate with the exception of a few is not happy with this plan.

Not really, even with a democratic Congress, the next administration could be GOP, if it isn't-then I don't look for it to be effective except that they will withdraw and call for peace. I don't see the Democrats pulling off any of the things they would like to, mainly because they'd have us become another third world country, and that's jusst not what America is.

no....chances are, the illiterate public is destined to elect another loser like bill clinton anyway. Therefore, Bush is doing what he believes is a strategy to end this.
