Do not apply it everywhere....this will help!!

The key to natural, believable bronzer is in the application, as much as in the actual formula and color of the bronzer. No matter which bronzer you select, it should be applied on your face where the sun would naturally "kiss" your skin. For example, along the bridge of your nose and on the apples of your cheeks and/or the top of your cheekbones. Powder bronzers are easily applied, but can get too dark too easily. One of the most natural bronzers around, I've found, is Smashbox's Develop Compact Bronzer. It is a cream-to-powder formula, and it offers a smooth, matte finish. As an added bonus, the Smashbox bronzer contains an SPF of 20, to keep the harmful rays at bay! As with any makeup application, practice makes perfect. You'll find what you like and what works for you.

You can get different types of bronzers. Some help you to look tan, be careful you can still look orange. Some give your skin a soft glow with blended color and help the tan part look more subtle and natural. Get a compact that has multi-colors in them. They look scary at first but they do work. Then get a large blush brush. Swirl the brush lightly through the color, lightly shake off loose color, then apply over entire face. Don't push down becuz then you'll have weird spots. Just sweep over face until it looks even. Make sure you get the right color for your skin tone.

a bronzer is to give you a "sun-kissed" look. Mary Kay has one in a pressed powder form and basically it is just several shades of browns mixed together. Some have a bit of a shimmer to them also. And just depends on the look you are wanting. Some use it in place of a blush, other use it over their entire face and neck to give a little color or you can use it to contour.
