How can I download Inuyasha Episodes off of the Season Set of DVDs?

I bought the Season 1 set of Inuyasha and I can't figure out how to download them onto my computer. I think the DVDs are locked or something becuase it is copyrighted.

They are copyright protected and it's a real pain to save them on your computer. You need some kind of special software and a lot of time.
