It's going to be a long time before Oprah retires, she's like the Michael Jordan of TV, It took him forever to call it quits. The best thing for you to do is work hard at being the best, that's what she did. She never let anything hold her back, be strong, confident, and interesting.

Are you kidding? Oprah is going to die at 98, ON her Show, just before the last commercial break! -So forget about replacing HER any time soon! :) Getting on TV will be alittle easier; just do something outrageous to earn your alotted 15 minutes of fame- and the next thing you know- you'll be on Larry King Live! Owning your own business should be even easier yet; just figure out WHAT you want to do, HOW you want to do it, WHO you're going to borrow the $$$ from to start off with, and WHEN you're going to make your first million- and lo!-You're on your way! Good luck!

I don't know if I can help you get your own show, but I'm all for Oprah retiring. Find a way and sign me up!

Find a TV station agent and show him what you do best, if you're lucky and they need your talent, it might land you your place under the spotlight. ^^ meh, you can try the old 1-2-3 audition thing too.
