Remove the sticky mountain dew with dishsoap and a small amount of water. Be sure to drop in at a local shoestore and get a leather conditioner to keep the leather from cracking and getting stiff

Either leave it outside in a light rain,,(this also takes mildew smell of leathers) or simply wash it off with a cloth.

what type of leather is it? more of a suede type or a slick type? can probably just wipe if off with a damp cloth, dependeing how big of an area of soda was spilled on it.
