Is that true? My husband and I are getting separated, but I really like my ring set, but I am quite sure that we won't get back together, Has anyone else every heard of this?

Wearing your ring on your right hand means independence. It doesn't mean your seperated, divorced, or was married. It just means that you are an independent woman. You can provide for yourself.
However, if you started dating someone and you two were really into each other, I would take it off. It's kind of disrespectful and it shows a sign - that you are still holding on to something. So you can wear it for now, but once you meet someone new. That's it.

That's a load of rubbish...you don't even have to wear a ring when you're married...it's not a legal requirement...it's done for tradition, to show basically at a glance that someone is spoken for if you like....there's absolutely nothing that says we should wear our wedding rings on our right hand after seperation....you can wear them in your boots if you like...be slightly uncomfortable though.

Most people just take the ring off. That's what my aunt did as she's going through a divorce. I am sorry to hear about this. Best of luck to you in the future!

I don't know...when my ex and I first seperated I took my rings off and never put them back on.

Wear them on the opposite hand if you want to or does he want them back? If you dont know if you want the marriage or not that is what i would do.
