Blue is a color that stands for transquility.
Blue is a very calm color.
Blue reminds you of the ocean and the sky, which is very peaceful when you're having a rough day. Just staring into the sky makes you feel better.
Blue is a very unique color, blended with green and yellow.
Blue, almost automatically, catches the eyes of it's viewers when they're looking at a white background.
Blue reminds me when I'm swimming in the ocean, as if I had pure freedom. It feels like I have the right to do whatever I need and go whatever path I want to.
Blue is almost a universal color. Any gender can enjoy the color and not be said to like girly colors, vice versa.
This is all I could think of. I hope it helps!

Not so hard. Sit down with your daughter and question her on why her favorite color is blue. Keep notes on her answers. Is it a particular shade of blue? Does she like blue better in everything. When I was a kid I like blue cars and bikes but I like green clothes and plants. When she closes her eyes, how does thinking of blue make her feel? Hope some of these help.

Detail in the story that her favorite color is blue and compare it to other things that she likes that are blue. Are her parent's eyes blue, or a stuffed animal, or does she love the sky? Lots of objects in life are blue colored, like rivers and lakes and cars and toys. Perhaps if she thinks about it, she will come across something that tells her why she likes blue.
