I want to upload videos. They are 10+ minutes. How can I Cut them down?

as far as i know
a freeware video editing tool is

just load the video up, and you can set a start offset and end offset to any portion of the video, then press delete

about the sound, i'm not too sure whether it cuts out as well, if it doesn't, you should save the audio track, "demux" (which is separates the audio and video stream) your video file,and then proceed to cut it down in the same frames / time as the video
you can probably use
audacity
http://audacity.sourceforge.net/
or
mp3cutter
http://home.hccnet.nl/p.luijer/
after converting it into mp3 using a program like
http://winlame.sourceforge.net/

and then mux it back later

Various programs can cut them if you just search google, but i'd recommend applying for a director account, you can post 10+ minute videos.

Use windows movie maker to shorten/modify them.

If you dont already have the program, you can download it on download.com. Search "windows movie maker", it will be there.
