Sounds like you are actually pretty normal...I wouldn't worry about 3 days later than the average...You may want to go on birth control to regulate it to 28 days and also to lessen the intensity of the cramping. Ask your doc about it when you go.

There is stuff ur gyno can do about the cramps and back pains, but 31 days is normal. A lot of different circumstances are normal, but if you are uncomfortable with them the doc can usually change it with the miracles of modern medicine. Every time I got mine I had severe cramps and it lasted ten days. My doc put me on birth control for a period of time, and it made my cycle closer to the "norm" and got rid of my cramps. Now my body has taken to that routine itself without the birth control. Good luck with ur appointment!

You're perfectly normal. Some women just have longer cycles. Mine tend to hover anywhere between 31 and 35 days, sometimes more sometimes less. Don't worry.

As for the cramps and back pains, I get those really badly too. A lot of women do.

Your doctor can give you medicine to help with the pain and birth control to regulate your period.

Good luck.

Totally normal. Women's cycles range from 25-40 days.

I get bad back pains and cramps as well, and my best advice is 3 Ibuprofen at the very first twinge of pain before it gets too bad, a heating pad and exercise! If it's so bad that it keeps you in bed, talk to your gyno. There are things you can do to keep it from getting out of hand.

28 days is the average.. not the rule. As far as the cramps and back pain, if this is a new development I might mention that to the gyno and see about maybe trying out birth control to help regulate your hormones.

I usually get mine anywhere from 25 to 32 days....I also get really bad cramps and back pain - it's been that way for years. You are probably completely fine but, it's definately a good thing to go see the gyno! Take care!

Every woman has a different cycle and those cycles can vary in their time frame. I would check with your doctor on the severe cramps, though....that's not normal.

Tell the Gyn how you feel. He can explain the reasons or run some tests.
