why do the media & people look at foot lovers as sick individuals? understanding that their are some bad apples in the bunch that draw negative attention to themselves, why must the foot fetish community continue to be looked down upon (no pun intended)? i mean, it's more in the closet that gays & lesbianism. i mean, everyone have their own kinks... people perceive indulging in the smell, sight, touch or taste of feet as being gross & disgusting but isn't oral sex just as nasty? last time i checked, you couldn't catch a STD by sucking toes. and why is sniffing panties a normal sexual act but shoes aren't? please explain.

Liking feet is less relatable, so people don't understand it. If they don't know what it's like to be different, then they may have a hard time understanding how others can be.

Also, when a creepy guy tries groping feet in public, that ends up on the news under the strange headlines. When a guy, equally creepy, tried groping a woman's brests in public, you don't hear about it because it's probably an everyday occurrence.

That being said, the word "fetish" isn't as shocking as it used to be, and most people would see it as neutral. I'm open about my foot fetish and my friends have been pretty consistent in telling me that it's either no big deal, or is actually a positive thing (yes, female friends as well).

Unfortunately, some will judge us negatively. Unfortunately, we have to struggle with "how soon in a relationship can you reveal it without scaring someone off?" We need to get some better PR people and spread some understanding.

A fetish is part of sexuality, NOT the choice you make as to if you want to be straight, gay, or Bi...you are labeled one of those 3 and a foot fetish can fit under any of those 3 categories

I rather think it's getting a bit better for us foot lovers. You are right though, there is still that perception of "sicko." I don't get it either, it is the most common of all the fetishes.

it's because we're perverts and this stuff is kinky. why else would we want to smell her stinkies. it's because we love them and we love to beat off to the thought of feet.

it's no wonder people are disgusted by our behaviors. we sit there and beat off to a pair of stinky feet when no-one is watching. how creepy is that?

and we check out girl's feet when they are not looking at us, some of us like to stare at them under a table when a girl is innocently eating while we get our perveted kicks off.
