No. Although some may distribute that heat better than others, IE. a better fan design or better grill opening etc. 1500 Watt is the highest load an average electrical circuit in a home can support. High wattage's require connection to a higher load circuit. Since the stores want to sell sell sell those things, they don't want you to have to call an electrician to hook it up. If 1500 W won't do it, call your local HVAC company to fix your furnace.

!500 watts is 1500 watts.
Lesser the watts the lesser the heat.
!500 watts will only put out enough heat to warm you if you are within 2-3 feet. If you have a very small bathroom and you leave the heater on for max. 1 hour it will knock of the chill if the temp. is not below 40 deg. F. Electric heaters are very dangerous. Never leave any heater on ...gas or electric when you leave the house.
Elect. heaters are costly to operate. Try finding a heater which runs on natural gas or butane. Much more cost effiencey and puts out a lot more heat. !5,000 -25, 000BTU will warm a room 10 x 10 up to 12 x 15 for the 25,000BTU.

Oil filled tend to create a gentle overall heat which takes some tine to dissipate even after the radiator has been turned off.. Regular electric heaters heat instantly, but as the heating elements are in direct contact with the hot air eminating from the heater, there is always a slight odor. experts also claim that the air has a drying effect., so it would appear that oil filled are better.
