In Sims2, how do I view my WMV files on the TV?

I understand it's possible. I found the file containing all the clips that the sims watch on the TV but I need to convert the WMV files into whatever format those clips are.

I think you need winzip, but also it needs to be a certain size and needs to be a certain rate of speed as well.
