He had his career year last year:
PPG 31.4
RPG 7.0
APG 6.6

He is averaging less now:
PPG 26.9
RPG 6.7
APG 6.1

I know he is still averaging awesome stats and all but who actually expected him to have a better season after averaging 31 pts, 7 rbs, 7 asts last year?

It's because of playing for team USA. Notice everyone who played for team USA that went past the first round of the playoffs last year is not having a good year this year. All those extra games have made them really really tired

I know exactly what you are talking about. I have as my first choice as my fantasy pick. Even though his numbers are way down, his play is actually making his team a better team. Like M Jordan, he averaged over 35pts a game. However, when he did score all those points with the rebs, steals, blocks ast, he could not achieve what all basketball players want to achieve. A Championship Ring. As far as lebron and his playing, his stats are way down on paper, but in reality, he is making his team a much better team. Watch out for Lebrons new Pippen, Rodman, Kerr, and Kukoc.

LBJ was and is still the best up and coming Super Star. He is the future of the NBA. He is a TEAM Player.

I'll give you a great reason...Larry Hughes. He was signed last off season to give Lebron help. Unfortunately, he only played a handful of games. Hughes has helped take some of the load off Lebron, and they are better off because of it. Their record at this point in the season is better than last year, and Hughes will help keep James fresher for the playoffs, where I think he will have the biggest impact.

There's nothing wrong with LeBron. It's the fans. We constantly raise the bar and expect players to have career nights every time they take the court. Let's cut him some slack of he doesn't average a triple-double every night. The guy is only human and is a great ball player.

With no great supporting cast, he'll be like the young Michael Jordan with great stats and numbers but no championship. Just hope that LeBron don't have to wait that long like Jordan.
