help with finding an audition song?

help with choosing an audtion song?
I go to a performing arts and everybody needs to audition in order to continue going there. And I've been having some difficulty in finding a song. Can somebody help me? I am a teen with a pretty mature voice, female, and an alto. I am hoping for a ballad, but an upbeat tempo would be fine too.

Also any other tips you can tell me would also be appreciated.

Try "Summertime"- not sure exactly who sings it originally, but Charlotte Church sings it at the end of a movie called "I'll Be There"
