I probably could, but I don't really want to.
I like knowing that someone will always be their for me...
through the hard times. I'm very thankful for the people in my
life right now.

As I am currently traveling around America and Canada on my own and have been for the last 6 months I would like to think that I am strong enough to go at it alone. But at the same time there are situations along this trip where it has gotten very lonely and just having someone give ya a friendly smile and a nice conversation helps cause I don't think anyone is strong enough to go at it alone all the time.

Describe what I'm doing alone?? Being single??? Am I strong enough to face life on my own?? If that's your question, then yes. I have to be and I will. Just need to take it day by day. I have a great support group and that's what you need to build strength!

Whether or not we care to admit it, we all are strong enough to go it alone honey. I know it's easier to have someone with you, but it's sort of a double edge sword to have that constant companionship. All too often, couples take on each other's personalities and over time they start to look their spouse for their happiness. In a sense, that means that its hard for them to find happiness within themselves. Truth be told, it's best to go it alone for awhile to gain that self sufficiency, self worth, and self esteem. It not only makes us better people but it also allows us to be secure enough within ourselves to eventually go out and obtain a true and honest relationship based on needs that we can't satisfy ourselves.
To sum it up, nobody knows how to please you better than you know how to please yourself. And until you learn that, nobody will make you happy.
