Why should i choose Interpersonal Communication as a subject?

ok, so im in this thingy called star and ya its gay but i have to choose subject n my teacher picked this one for me...and i'm suppose to tell why i chose this subject....could u help me out here?

because how you interact with others in you life and business career or vocation is more important than what you think you know.its how you control yourself that determines your status ,especially in business.
