If ur having sleeping problems then my advice may help you.Firstly,u have to go to bed early between 10 pm and 1pm.that's when the sleeping hormones are produced. you need to accumulate these sleeping hormones by going to bed on time.if not,thee hormones will become less and the production will be disrupted.if you wanna get good sleep thoughout your life then get started to accumulate hormones now.go ask your grandparents,they may find it hard to fall asleep becoz their hormones are so little due to bad sleeping habits when they're young.also,avoid loud music before sleep or big meals,especially meat that needs 2 hours of digestion.do not eat in the 2 hours before u sleep.

They have did studies and found bright lights just before going to bed effects how long it takes a person to go to sleep. The studies showed if you lowered the lighting for about an hour before going to bed it helps people fall asleep sooner. Try using a reading light and read an interesting book before trying to fall asleep.

I just try to calm my mind. It depends on what is keeping you up. Problems? Think about happy things that happened over the past few days. or talk about them, write it down or just say them out loud, i know it sounds cheesy but it really helps. Anxiety? get up and shake it off. literally. get out of bed and jump or shake or wiggle, whatever it takes to get the jitters off. then think about something relaxing, the ocean or i usually hum something boring to myself. if all else fails, i turn cnn on the television and put it on mute. then i roll over and face the wall and watch the colors. it gets really boring but i don't let myself look at the tv. it will eventually bore me to sleep. works like a charm everytime
