I am 29 weeks pregnant, Last night i experienced i very bad lower tummy pain that went down to my upper thigh. It was probably the worst pain ive ever had, and brought me to tears. Since then i have been having bad lower belly pain alll day and its really hurting me.

Another question i have is , for about a month every now and then i have been getting a bad pain down my right side. between the bottom of my ribs and top of my hips. It doesn't go to my tummy or anything, just my side.

Okay personal question, I will get the sudden urge to have to go to the bathroom out of no where all the time. I almost pee my pants every time and i mean i get really close, like i am afraid of standing up or else i would go on my self. Embarassing i know, but its really bad, and i was wondering if there is anything to help it cause it hurts my belly a lot when it happens!!

Any help on these 3 questions, i would appreciate it !! thank you!

Your pains can be contractions and you might want to have your doctor monitor you to see if you are contacting and if the baby is okay.

The pain in your side might be your baby moving around. Next time you get the pain put some ice cubes in a ziplock bag and hold it to your side. If it is the baby they'll feel the cold and move away. Works like a charm.

At this stage in your prgnancy your baby is standing on your bladder. It goes away once you give birth.

The tummy pain down to the thigh is most likely muscles and ligaments stretching to make way for more room for the baby. It hurts like hell and it does not always go away immediately. You can get a maternity belt which will help support your back and help hold up the baby until your muscles stretch and the pain is gone.

The tummy pain in your side COULD be a symptom of a kidney or bladder infection or UTI (urinary tract infection), especially if you are going to the bathroom alot.

Now, the urge to go to the bathroom is perfectly normal. The pressure of the baby's head baring down on the bladder makes for a great bathroom trip every 15-30 minutes (in my case). However, if you are having problems holding your bladder, or you have a strong urge to pee all the time and nothing comes out or it burns when you go to the bathroom, then you definitely will almost have a UTI (urinary tract infection), bladder or kidney infection. Go to the doctor and get it checked out to make sure. It won't hurt and you'll feel better once you've found out if you are okay or not.

If you are spotting bright red or your water has broke, you definitely need to call your OB/GYN or call labor delivery at the hospital you are deliverying at.

Hope this helps and good luck.

The quadratic formula is x= (-b +/- sqrt(b^2-4ac)) / 2a So for number 1: x = -(-5) +/- sqrt((-5)^2 - 4(1)(6)) / 2(1) x = 5 +/- sqrt (1) / 2 x = (5 +/- 1) / 2 From there, because you have the plus or minus, you have to split it into two equations. x = (5 + 1) / 2 x = (5-1)/2 x = 6/2 x = 4/2 x = 3 x = 2 Your answer then is x = 3 and x = 2. You should probably try the next two on your own to make sure you can do them. be sure for number three to first write the equation in the quadratic. This simply means to write it in ax^2+bx+c form. In your case, just multiply that x through the binomial. I'll give you the answers I got for the next two so you can check though. #2 x=5, x=3 #3 x= 9, x=5

for the first question, i havent gone through that but i would recommend talking to your doc about that. as for the pain going down your side, i had that for about a week i talked to my doc and she just said its from the baby growing, but you can talk to your doc about that too while your talking to him/her about the other pain, doesnt hurt to ask. about the almost peeing your pants thing, i totally understand where your coming from on this, i do that all the time... but you know what i do now, because it just gets so bad, i make sure that i time it to where i serious go to the bathroom every half hour, weather i feel the urge or not, i drink TONS of water which is prolly why i have to pee so much but it works for me.... bring that up to your doc too while your there, if your not dehydrated im sure your doc wont tell you not to, mine didnt she thought that as long as i was drinking enough water to keep hydrated it was a good idea.

Whenever you feel anything even slightly strange call the doctor - especially if it's painful.
