hey girl!! well Revlon Colorstay has amazing eyeliners and eye shadows that can last up to 16 hours...it is truly amaaaazing:) and then for concealer--I use bareminerals and I am definitely a fan!! with the "maximum coverage concealer brush" haha--the starter kit for bareminerals has made my skin look amazing and has covered up--while giving me the look of bare skin!!! :) good luck! oh and I've heard MAC has good eyeshadow colors--you can get some off ebay if you want

I'd suggest using MAC cosmetics. They're owned by the same company that owns Clinique.
However, their makeup has more pigment in it (so you need less) and if you can find a true MAC store (not a counter) all of the salespeople are makeup artists. Still, if you can only find a counter, it's still better than Clinique.
They have really nice waterproof eyeliner pencils, and if you need concealer, try their Studio Stick concealer. Also, they have a few really nice foundations, but I'd steer clear of the StudioTech foundation - it's thick and heavy looking. Their StudioFix is a better choice - it's a foundation in a powder form. But by all means try everything out, and INSIST that they actually put it on your face to make sure that it looks right on you.
Have fun!

For concealer I have tried I think almost everything. I like Almay's Nearly Naked concealer. For eyeshadow I can recommend Maybelline and Revlon. For eyeliner I can't recommend brand, but I prefer crayon eyeliner. It is easier to apply than a pencil but doesn't run like a liquid may. If you have really sensitive skin you may want to try Physician's Formula cosmetics in addition to Neutrogena or Almay.

I prefer MAC over clinique. Bed Head makes good eyeliner. For shadow and concealer I'd go with MAC for sure.

Ehh. I don't like Clinique. I have very senstitive skin so I thought that Clinique would be good for me, but their liquid foundation for some odd reason make me break out. So I use Origins. It's not very expensive and it's made from all natural ingrediants.
You can find it at Macys or Nordstrom. =)

Clinique is good, but my favorite is Physicians Formula for eyeshadow and eyeliner. It's nice, but not too expensive and you can find it at any Wal Mart, and Target too, I think.

Clinique is good but I love MAC cosmetics. They have wonderful colors that are bright and sparkly, and some neutrals but still make you stand out. I use their concealer and no one can tell it's on. I usually use some concealer and then add some blot powder.

ew. dont use clinique. way too many people react badly after use (breakouts etc.). Lise Watier is a good brand for beginners. its not very expensive, and you should be able to find a nice assortment of concealers, eye shadows, etc. Dont use her mascara. Try BAD GAL. fabulous new line

i use clinique and it works really well!
just get a good shadow brush because their brushes aren't to well.
also a good idea for eyeshadow, is to put a little bit of cream on your eyelids and then eyeshadow over top, it really brings it out!
maybelline, and annabelle have very nice eyeshadow as well.
