Zero. One, the Raiders might be the worst job in all of football, professional, college, high school. I can't think of anybody except Tom Cable that would want to be the head coach of the Raiders. Plus, Pete Carroll's a smart guy. He knows that he has a sweet gig. USC is essentially LA's pro team, and he's the head coach of probably the biggest powerhouse in all of college football. I mean over the last 6 years no team has come close to being as good year in and year out as USC.

I agree totally. He would be wise to take the Chargers head coach job rather than the Dolphins. Because as you pointed out the LT Rivers deal, but an interesting question is Carroll has had studs at WR every year that go 1st or 2nd round in the draft, He only has a great TE. I imagine he'll make it work.

After having unsuccessful runs in the NFL in the past, and his recent success after coming to USC, i dont think Pete Carroll is going anywhere. He has created a dynasty at USC, making a historically very good team into a NCAA football powerhouse. Being a college football coach is his callling, and I dont think he should or will go anywhere

Doubtful, but they could throw a lot of money at him. His past attempts weren't the best. And why leave a great program where you are basically worshipped.

Steve Spurrier, IMO, made this mistake, and came back to college ball. There is a big difference in coaching college "kids" and multimillionaires with endorsements and other business ventures.

I say he stays where he is.
