Im just wandering cause my mom told me guys who dont get it cut dont get laid. So im thinking about getting it but i heard its extremely painful and graphic. I dont wanna be awake during circumison and i saw a show where a guys is being circumised and he is 100% awake. I dont want that but then again i want to be able to make love to a girl.

You can make love to a girl and be uncut! You are going to regret being circumcised. If your foreskin does not retract, you can stretch it non-surgically to retract. People are BORN with a foreskin . . . millions of years of evolution (or God himself) designed humans that way. Only a few ignorant American women make a big deal out of this. I was circumcised, and I really want my foreskin back. I'm in the process of restoring it non-surgically. Look here before you even THINK of having yourself mutilated like that:

Your mom is full of it. 80% of the world's men are uncut. She's trying to pressure you into it. DON'T LET HER DO IT! You can have it done later if you REALLY want to, but if you have it done now there's no turning back!
I was just reading an article that said that women prefer uncircumcised when they've been with natural and mutilated (circumcised) penises.

Your Mom sounds like a very sensible and knowledgable woman - you should listen to what she says. While uncircumcised men can get laid, they usually just get the more ignorant girls who do not know the benefits of the man being circumcised, Circumcised men enjoy better hygiene, comfort, appearance and desirability to women, so they have more self-esteem and both they and their female partners have FAR better sexual sensation during intercourse. When you are circumcised as an adult, you can either have a general anaesthetic, where you are put to sleep, or a local, which kills all pain but you stay awake. I had my original circumcision as an adult, over 20 years ago, under a general anaesthetic and I felt no pain. Last year I had a second circumcision to remove a little loose skin which had developed over the years due to erections, sex etc. I had this tightening circ under a local and again I felt nothing - it's no big deal. The people who will tell you not to get circumcised and that it is painful as an adult know nothing - they are usually either young inexperienced women like "Maple" below (and unlike your Mom) or uncircumcised men, so what can they know? I know what I am talking about from personal experience and I say again, there's nothing to getting circumcised and the benefits will be with you for the rest of your life - listen to your Mom and go for it!

I'm a woman who has had relationships with both a cut man and an uncut man, and I can tell you that I think sex is better for both parties when the foreskin is left intact. Many other women agree with me; it is only very young girls who are squeamish about a natural penis.
If you were going to stay a young teen the rest of your life, it MIGHT please a few underaged girls. But you will be a man very soon and will then want to please women, not 14-year-old girls, and women like their men WHOLE if possible. Plan ahead and leave your foreskin intact. Both you and the woman you eventually marry will have a lifetime of pleasure from your foreskin!

It depends. Since it is relatively minor surgery, they usually only do local anesthetic (just so you can't feel that specific area). General anesthetic (knocking you out completely) is possible but I doubt your doctors would recommend it, as it makes the procedure more dangerous. Do local if you can, just don't watch what they're doing.
PS: If your mom felt so strongly, it seems weird that she didn't have you cut as a baby. What she's saying isn't really... true... but if you want this, it's your choice.

get it done its not very painful its just sore like a elbow scrape for a week and its worth it you wont loose any feeling it really just gets better feeling and more people will be willing to get with you and its alot cleaner and no maintenence dont listen to girls on here saying dont do it they dont have one and just think that its cruel or they have penis envy adn dont want you to have a nice one trust me just trust me you wont look back and wish you didnt do it

You should not get circumsized unless there is a medical need for it. Uncircumsized men have sex and don't have any problems with sex. Your mom is just pulling your leg unless you think she truely belives what she says.

I am not sure if they put you to sleep but i do kbnow that they will numb the area very well. My nephew had this done.

Yes you are asleep, but don't listen to the ones telling you not to do it, you lose no sensitivity and you don't have to clean the crap that get stuck in there.

they'll put you to sleep and no, you won't wake up during the operation.. don't worry.
and yes, it WILL hurt, but be a man!
it's only for few days and you'll be fine
