I don't support him, but I'm curious to see who thinks he's an ok guy. What are your reasons? I am serious. No Bush bashing please, we've all heard it before.

Well, being a Army Sgt. who has done two tours in Iraq most would think that im republican.
That myth is not true. The military is NOT 100% republican.
I salute him and respect him because of the oath i took when i enlisted. Thats it.

That is the problem with our once wonderful country. There is an old adage that if you throw enough s--t at the wall, some will stick. Thanks to our Providgun style progressive left wing overly liberal so called "main stream" media, many people are buying into the lies and all the Bush bashing that has gone on since he won the election in 2000,(no matter what the Demicrook Hypocrats in the Democrat party did to try and steal it.) I am an ex Air Force Korean vet that is quite proud of the letter I received from him in Dec. 2004 and it is framed (envelope and all) and hangs on the wall here over my computer for all to see. He has made mistakes. He sure didn't use his veto stamp enough and I hope he has learned from that. He still has a very good chance in going down in history as one of the best commander-in chiefs in the history of the country. Time will tell and future generations may well be comparing him to Washington, Lincoln, Eisenhower and Reagen.

Well I dont agree with alot that he does or says but there is a lot that he does or says that I do agree with. Recently, I was a little concerned for him because he's been so wildly unpopular in the nation. I didnt have many friends growing up so being unpopular really doesnt mean much to me. I just assume that at one point or probably the majority of his life he has had many friends and I was worried that may be affecting him. I was actually going to go to DC and buy a trinket from one of the gift shops and write a letter and drop it off at the gate to let him know that I still believe in him.

I support him.
1) he was by far the better choice in 2000 & 2004.
2) He is doing the best he can & much better than anyone else available would have done.
3) While he has made mistakes, everyone does. There has never been a perfect President as there has never been a perfect person & presidents are human.
4) His success is the country's success & his failures are the country's failures. I passionately want the USA to succeed.

I support his vision for Iraq and the Middle East, but I do not think he has handled things well to this point. I applaud him for not giving up, however. He, in the face on unpopular opinion, has stuck to his desire to see this thing through to the end. Having a stable, peaceful, and FRIENDLY Iraq, IS in the BEST interests of the United States. Regardless of why some people think we are there, the fact is we are there, and if we leave now, we will be worse off than before.

I think George (like all of his predecessors) has made some good decisions as well as some bad decisions. We were attacked during his presidency and responded with force. This is unpopular. I support the war on terrorism, I think it has stopped further attacks on our nation. I support removing Saddam from power, he was a dictator committing genocide. I would like to see some progress in Iraq, or our troops coming home soon. You will never agree with everything that anyone does. I think terrorists look at George like a crazy cowboy. I kinda like that. Do I agree with all of his policies, absolutely not. Do I support my president....yes. Good question.

I support Pres. Bush whole heartedly. I believe he and or kick-awesome Military are doing great things for the Iraqi people. When people bash Bush about the iraq war and his handling of it they are just flapping there lips...my father has been to Iraq and he believes in the war's cause and his Commander in Chief too...people fail to realize that Bush isn't an evil guy at all and in fact he does care.

This president has been defiled so badly by the media on a daily basis I am surprised he has the will to continue sometimes.

He may mince his words, he may say "nuculer" (I cringe when I hear that), he may have a Texas swagger that comes off as a little arrogant, but he's a good man. An honest man.

I'm appalled at the lack of respect shown to a sitting president.

I voted for Bush, and i stand behind that still. I don't believe everything I hear on the News about him, I don't see anything he's done that I disagree with except for the Border issue and I'm not gonna hate the man over 1 issue. He's done allot of good for our country, he runs his administration allot like Regan did and I Loved Regan. And I am not a registered Republican, matter of fact I grew up in a all democrat family, who just about disowned me when i voted for Bush, but I argued my points and they see somethings my way now.

I do. Always have always will. He is taking the fight to the enemy and that always gets a big thumbs up from me. He is also not letting himself be influenced by polls like Clinton. He does what he feels is right for this country. And does it from the heart regardless of what others think. To me he is a true hero.
