get off the computer, take a nice warm bath and read while you are in the tub. Get dry and lay down. Instead of thinking of daily stuff in bed, try to say a prayer and ask God to bless each person that you have known in your life. By the time I get a good start, I can barely keep my eyes open.

Plenty of pillows, dark room, cold temperature, soft bedding, quite or some white noise in the background. You shouldn't eat before going to bed. Last meal should be at least 4-5 hours before sleep. And now that you drank tea, you may have to get up and pee after finally falling asleep.

If you've got things on your mind...write it all down so you can focus on it when you wake up.

Tea's known to keep people awake as well as coffee, because of it's caffeine. A drink of warm milk and all the lights out might help. Stay warm..

what i do when i can sleep is take a really hot shower/bath. i get the water as hot as I can stand it and stay in there until the hot water is gone. then i put on a comfy pair of pjs and head to my bed (which is currently on my grandfather's enclosed porch and the cold air seems to help me relax further). i curl up in the covers and get all nice and snug. next i grab a book and turn on the camping lamp i use, turn on the disc man (i have the ear phones under my pillow) and read until i'm to drowsy to understand what's on the page. usually that helps me get to sleep within about 10-15 mins of my head hitting the pillow. the nice thing about the disc man is that i don't have to worry about turning off the music (which helps me get to sleep) because i know some people say you shouldn't sleep with noise. (if you have a clock radio, hitting the sleep timer works as well)
hope this helps and sweet dreams.

Try making yourse;f worn out during the day and keeping busy , so you are exausted by night fall. Or i would contact a sleep centre or even talk to your Doctor about sleep clinics that specialise in sleep disorders. Try everything esle first before moving onto prescribed drugs for sleep.

Try reading a book.

As long as the pc is turned on and you are in front of it you are definitely not going to sleep.

Btw, when you find the answer please email me. If there is a way that actually works I HAVE to know it.

there are afew reasons you cant sleep. No. 1 is stress, no.2 is too much noise or complete lack of. (i have a fan running).
too much caffiene earlier. do not push yourself to go to sleep, it justs makes it worse. turn on your tv, low volume and relax to animal planet, works for me.
