A lot people equate male flight attendants as having a "feminine" job, though I disagree, what does society think?

first David, it doesn't matter a hill of beans what society says, who the hell are they? if that is what you want to do, then do it...I have wanted to do that since I was 12 -I am now 58 and would still love to give it a shot--follow your heart--always

No, it's not socially weird at all.

Historically flight attendants were there to give a bit of sex appeal to attract male passengers and looks were all-important.

There's been an absolute turn-around on the looks front and political correctness laws demand equal opportunity in hiring. What happened when the laws came in, however, is that many airlines, almost certainly inadvertently, recruited among their new male flight attendants a very large proportion of gay men and the flight attendant's role is now considered largely a gay preserve as far as the males are concerned. Not a criticsm, but just an explanation of why some people raise an eyebrow at the idea of a a "straight" male going for flight attendant training.

Not at all.
I do not see any flaw in joining the aviation sector for males is weird.
Have females stopped entering into army or any other paramilitary force or politics when it is considered as a male dominant sector?
No,then why men should be hesitant to be part of such a great booming industry.
Do not think about people, think about your priority and interests.

that's fairly humorous and clever!! I applaud to the flight attendant who discover mind-blowing words interior the very awkward project. for the duration of the flight, flight attendants are holding absolute authority, because of the fact they're finally responsible for the passengers protection on the undeniable. So, if any of the passengers certainly refuse to cooperate, they have the authority to easily tie him up and handcuff him and get in touch with protection to the gate and after that notwithstanding if that's a king or queen they are going to might desire to handle an fairly severe accusations of (noncompliance) resisting direct orders from the flight attendants. which will bring about a superb of $11000 and finally in especially severe situations ban them from flying on ALL airways. he would be placed on "none flying record". So, if he succeeded- he saved a sorry butt of that provincial princess from a variety of of hassle. that's, of reason, in case you probably did not make it up. *smile* yet notwithstanding in case you probably did- that's fairly humorous and clever. that's something my terrific pal might say- he's a flight attendant. *smile*

It's becoming less "weird" as are male nurses. I think that's a good thing.
