Im sure I set myself up for this..but haven't meant to.I try and try to research things that afflict me even asking questions here. This was probably the wrong thing to do.I now feel as if Im a premed student and have everything. As for my plight I don't know what to do..In my lifetime when I needed an answer I have gone to the libraries before home computers and then now to the internet..I am not a hypochondriac but suppose I could have developed some neurosis as to what is going on with me.I constantly persevere and others have done this as well seeking what the medical world has no answers for.Mine I think is the fact that I hear a pounding in my head.. maybe weight loss caused maybe an artery waiting to burst but its still there and not imagined..I have sensations that I have posted here and found that others could not understand as this is a local thing that causes them. You ask a local person and they oh welcome to the valley.. But I do ask on here with hopes that someone has a ?

clue. just because they don't know what it is doesn't mean it doesn't exist. It seems easier to just give someone a pill so they wont notice anything and cause it anxiety depression.I have been checked for everything and know in my heart I cannot imagine things i am feeling ,maybe in this valley they are prevalent and maybe outside of this valley no body even knows. If you have clues to what things are please answer but if you don't then please dont.My blood pressure and everything else is fine ,I don't have any symptoms of major diseases and thats what makes it even more frustrating ,but im tired all the time have sensations in my arms and legs and get shaky and hear that infernal pulse in my ears all the time. Its just aggravating and is enough to make you a hypo..I have so many different things that i feel thats so odd..yes I would say it sounds like a hypo.. but im not..what say you ?Please no smart remarks.

You're a hypochondriac. Now your asking for justification, one of the symptoms of the disease. Get help.

Okay, now I think you have to understand a few things first. I responded to one of your previous posts and I did indeed state that it was likely you presented hypochondriac tendencies.... soo, here's my reaction to your reaction
1. intern syndrome: those who are recently educated, or encounted a small bit of information are always keen to show it off - it's an inevitable product of 'knowledge as power' in this day and age. As such, people also inevitably diagnose things too much, or incorrectly altogether. This is the logic behind residentcies for medical students. Otherwise, anybody with a DSM-IV or a Gray's Anatomy Text could be a medical professional - which is anything but the case. If you were a mental health professional and you believe that you are not a hypochondriac - perhaps you aren't. But if you don't ahve the certification - you should defer to the experts.
2. Mental Illness or Hypochodriasis or other Somatic Disorders ARE NOT "BAD." It is NOT your fault. These illnesses are triggered by external factors like any other illness (we don't TRY to be psychopaths, but many people are born that way unfortunately). As such, the stigma attached to them is purely irrational and anyone that says that these ilnesses are the fault of someone, or reflect badly on the person themselves is being completely ignorant themselves and are insulting the other person.
3. You mentioned that people have been suggesting that you're "making things up". This is NOT hypochondria. You have NO control over the somatic disorder itself. Otherwise, you would be able to stop the feelings you are experiencing
4. The idea that you know yourself because you feel it in your "heart" - this is a very irrational idea. Think about it - if you were a 5 yr old and had a stuffy nose, a fever, and a headache - how the heck are you suppose to know what it is? Only after someone tells you it's a cold do you know that it's a cold. This is the same thing that you are experiencing - just because your heart tells you something, it doesn't mean that it's true.
5. Some minor points you made
a.) you cannot ever feel an artery awaiting to burst, whcih is why when people get brain anerisms, they just fall unconscious and have no idea what's happening
b.) weight loss cannot cause an artery to burst, it can however alter your hormonal balance which can influence other systems i.e. concentration, memory formation, organizational skills, emotional stability
Things that you may want to do (No one can actually tell you what to do, all they can do is suggest.. which is what I'll do).
- understand that you do not have all the answers and that it is okay to not have those answers... everyone is a student and has something to learn
- drugs are NOT the ONLY solution to mental illness, don't be caught up in pop-news from Scientology alter your views on the profession - CBT and therapy sessions are just as successful, but also some drugs do help - there is a reason that it is endorsed nevertheless. I have friends who have HORRIBLE cases of depression and you would not believe how much drugs help them.
- if you're not satisfied with one doctor's assessment, find another one
- if you have a bunch of doctors helping you and no one can give you a suitable answer, consider confiding in a mental health professional

I have heard of this and it is an ear problem. Something to do with the ear drum. I wish I could remember what it is called but I know an ear doctor can help if it gets bad. I have had bouts of the same thing from time to time but not for long or to often. I am sure it has been very frustrating to explain and there are always the clowns that like to turn everything into a joke, when you want an honest answer. That pounding can be very annoying and keep you from getting enough rest. Please check with a doctor.

You had a full work up and it's all good, so try to relax as you move on to a naturopath.
The pounding in your head could just be you being extra sensitive to your own heart beat, many people are.
Chances are it's just that you're overly in tune with your autonomic nervous system and noticing what's usually background hum to the rest of us.
Get a naturopathic work up, and if it's normal, relax.
Worrying about your health is more likely to cause health problems than detecting something that's not likely to happen for decades.
BTW, if you suspect environmental influence, get the water and soil tested from your home and work place/school. Also, note if you're living anywhere near high voltage power lines, or any other industries that could be contaminating your environment.
Good luck.

If you really feel your sick there may be something wrong. It may not be a bunch of different things, but just one thing with many symptoms. If youve seen a doctor and been checked out I wouldnt be worried. You could try holistic remedies for your symptoms if youre concerned.
