First thing is make sure you wash it in cold water only. Second would be to add white vinegar to the water. Vinegar keeps colors from bleeding.

Salt water...add Table Salt or Sea Salt to a pan of cold water and soak item for at least an hour then wash as you regularly would, this is what they use industrially to set dye...

Wash in cold water and rinse pour a bottle of vinegar in the water.

add a cup of white viniger to cold wash let new items soak for half hour then wash as normal

I buy a lot of tie-dyed stuff. I always soak them first in cold salt water and that keeps them from bleeding.
