(1) why does cristiano ronaldo play for portugal but he also plays for an england club (manchester united) if he plays for pourtugals should'nt he be on a pourtugal team

1,On a world stage the football played at a domestic level in portugal cannot compete (although clubs like benfica, fc porto and sporting lisbon play in european competition to a good level) with other major leagues. This means that there will be a drain on the best players. Players such as ronaldo, figo, pauletta, deco etc will always move to the 'bigger' leagues of england, spain and france etc.
2, ronaldinho is way better then
a- ronaldo-- a player lacking motivation, past his best
b- rooney-- hasn't scored for england for years and isn't playing too well for man u
c- beckham-- hasn't been a world class player for several years, i don't think the move to spain was best for him.

You play for your country of origin, i.e. the country of your passport. As C.Ronaldo is portuguese he plays for portugal.
This, however, does not stop him from seeking employment in other countries. Just as a portuguese doctor could practise in england if anybody would like to hire him, a footy player can ply his trade here too. (or any other country subject to passing all proper international employment checks)
Ronaldinho is at presnt, the best by quite a way, of course cristiano ronaldo and rooney have the potential to be as good or even better, but as of yet, its only potential and they have to prove it.

1. Just because c.ronaldo is Portuguese, it doesn't mean that he has to play for Portuguese team. ex.zidane he is french and he plays for real madrid which is spanish team.
2.i think roanldinho is the best of the four because he is ronaldinho. what more do you need to be the best?
