Deidara is a guy. Although one time i seen in a translated manga saying that he was a she at one point.

People say that its hard to tell because the Japanese language doesn't use words like "he" and "she" that describe gender. *from what I understand* When Deidara speaks about himself he refers to himself as a guy.
*I'm refering to Deidara as a guy, because from what I've heard about the translation and what I mentioned above, he is one...*
