I've been trying to get out of Los Angeles for a few years now. I hate almost everything about LA. I have travelled around the country, checking out different cities, and I am still undecided as to what city I should move to from here. I have a stable income. Though I am poor, I don't mind roommate situations (even sharing a room at first), and I'm not too picky about the area of the city, as long as it's not a ghetto where my life is in danger. The main priorities for me are: it must be a liberal city, and it must be very walkable, with good public transportation (i don't drive). Weather isn't a factor me, as long as it's not extreme. (no below zero or scorching hot all year round). What US city would you recommend? Thanks.

I would suggest Knoxville, TN. housing is still affordable, they have public transportation, they have all 4 seasons, its a growing place..lots of jobs/ business opportunities, and there are areas of quiet country and busy city within short distance of eachother.

I would deffinetly reccomend Seattle. It is a temperate climate all year round. Easy to walk around and very safe. Lots of things to do as well! Good Luck
