Whatever it may be ... please understand that the internal clock speed of a processor is far from the final word on its overall performance.

A CPU can be clocking at 500Ghz, however, if it carries only 1 bit per cycle it's really only as fast as a 5Ghz processor that carries 100 bits per cycle ....

Internal architecture varies more &more in modern processors. Performance benchmarks on a variety of different multimedia & scientific applications are a better way to compare performance between different processors.

probably around a 2.4-2.6 P4. Sempron is comparable to the Intel Celeron.

2.8 GHz. see that 2800+? that means it is equivellant to a 2.8 Ghz intel chip.
