Get a B.A. in criminal justice, political science or similar field, take the LSAT to get into Law School. Get your law degree, network and politic like crazy and hopefully be appointed as a judge in a municipal, superior or federal court. Spend years and years and years making a name for yourself on important cases. A TV producer may scout you out if you are a "trail blazing" judge or make newpaper headlines for giving out creative punishments. Practicing law without a license is a federal offense - all TV judges have accomplished the above.

She is a lawyer first and has all the degree's that are required to be a lawyer. She has a book out that is excellent. If all of us had the common sense she has it would be a better world. I love her, she gets right to the point, no nonsense. She takes control of her courtroom. To bad she wasn't the Judge in the OJ trial.

I think you need a law degree but, you do not have to be a judge because the one from Texas justice isn't and if you read his name plate it just says his name but, I'm sure he is an attorney
