A friend told me that: my guy friend, his friends were laughing at me and they've never met me, and he was just laughing along...

should I be mad, or am I overreacting?

If he really likes you and cares about you he wouldn't have even pretended he thought what they were doing was funny.

I don't know that you should be mad but I'm not sure I would want to hang around with someone who didn't respect me.

If you don't have any idea what they were laughing about, then why are you mad??? Now, if your guy was laughing along with them when they said you looked like a witch with a crooked nose and teeth, then hell yes you should be mad.

Otherwise, what's the big deal??

Yea you should be mad about this. What did you do to get them laughing at you? Probley nothing. I dont see why people do that. Never seen someone else before and start laughing at them for no reason. If I was in this situation I would just ignore them. Good Luck in this situation.

Ignore them!! They obviously are just a bunch of jerks anyhow. If you know what they were laughing about, and it offends you or hurts your feelings then you have every right to be mad. Stand up for yourself.

Absolutely! Your guy friend should tell the others not to rag on his friend. If he was laughing at your expense he 's not worthy to your friendship hes a back stabbing Cockroach!

He is trying to fit in with the guys. Although This isn't very nice. I think you should let him know, that you know. Tell him he is a jerk (or something like that) and let him walk on eggshells for awhile. Let him know he hurt you. Depending how needy he is or how mature his is - you may lost a friend in him. But he treated you bad first.
Remember to forgive.

It depends on what they were laughing about. Was it real personal or just something harmless. Can you take a joke. I laugh at myself all the time.

If they were laughing at you, what was being said..you cant go off of hearsay. Confront your friend and find out what exactly was being said about you. And 8 if it was so bad, that you cant find yourself forgiving him, then find another friend. Also i wouldnt worry too much about what others are saying about you.

I'd be a little disappointed. He's supposed to be your friend, and friends stick up for each other.
He just might be a bit too immature to realize he shouldn't just 'go along.'
