It is a very small city if you are used to a big one. The people there are generally nice and have a big southern accent that you may pick up! There is not much to do. There are tons of throughbred horses there and hrose parks. Kentucky Blue Grass! I would not personally move there but its a nice town. Lots of rednecks though!

I live there, and I think it's a cool, up-and-coming city. Sure, it's got its ghetto side, and its hillbilly moments, but you might be surprised -- it's becoming a hip, young-urban, earthy town. We have fair-trade coffee shops and locally owned brewpubs, a million amazing, locally owned restaurants... on a side note, I swear that if I won the lottery, I would eat at a different Louisville restaurant every night. So many of them are so wonderful and unique!

We're also working to focus restoration downtown. It's a slow process, but there's so much history in those old buildings! It's got a lot of potential.

I spit on Louisville! The city tends to die down after 12am, and the people are among the most inhospitable I've ever met! (I used to live there.)
