What IS Chandler's job? That question has been bugging me for a while now, all I know is that he is NOT an accountant..

P.S. I'm talking about his "first" job not the one in advertising

He was a Statistical Analysis and Data Reconfiguration, or a data processor. In the show they joked office slang such as the "WENUS" (Weekly Estimated Net Usage Statistics) and the "ANUS" (Annual Net Usage Statistics). Most people dont know what he does in the show ex: Joey: "and you call yourself an accountant?" Chandler: "No!"

Chandler's old job was statistical analysis and data reconfiguration, and he was promoted to some sort of supervisor in the middle of the very 1st season. He stayed there until Season 9, episode 205 (the 205th episode), TOW Christmas in Tulsa when he quit. Chandler gets an internship at an advertising agency in episode 210, TOW the Mugging, and he is still working at the advertising agency to this day, but not as an intern.
