absolutely not.......its the persons own money and who is the government to tell them how they should spend it.....

certain kinds of gambling is already outlawed. Some others like the lottery which is said to bring in money for education is not outlawed. Generally gambling brings in undesirables, guns, scams, crime, prostitution, etc. to an area unless it's strictly monitored. Here the seminole indians run gambling on their own property.

no, because people will always gamble, whether it's legal or not. While the government is able to tax it, revenues are produced, and we all benefit from something that's addictive, but will always be with us. I just have a problem with allowing Indians to offer gambling on a tax exempt basis, while my lion's club had to struggle to pay the taxes because we're white.

No way! If people cannot control their problem they should go to a doctor. Not make the rest of us suffer because we want to have fun and they are addicted.
