I have a 2002 Chevy Z71, Extended Cab...I need to know how much a 6" suspension lift would cost on average at a local 4x4 shop? 9" suspension lift cost? and a 3" body lift cost?

Below is the url for jcwhitney.com, to see what the lift kits will cost. Everything is different price. Now the labor may run from $75 to $200 as various shops will vary. I charge the cheaper price yet the proshop may charge the higher price. But they have overhead, yet we both may make the same profit.

Lifts for your truck can get expensive. Contact jcwhitney and get their free catologue for your truck.

Not really big bucks to change out gears. The only reason you would want to change them out though is if you were going off road with the truck. Unless your worried about gas mileage. Which with running a 40 tire I do not believe that your worried about that. Just remember you change the gears in the rear you have to do the same in the front. Or you will blow some stuff up when you do put it in 4wd. You can get the complete locker kit for like 600 or 700. Cost of labor will vary

depends what kind of lift you want. They have a solid lift now for IFS trucks. Which is really cool just on the expensive side. Body lift for a good one you looking at about 300 plus easy. I would have to say anywhere from 1500 to 3000 for the suspension lift though just depends on all what you want.

Order a lift kit from Rough Country. Their stuff is really nice and not too expensive. I've had their lifts on a few of my vehicles and loved them.

This is what they got for your truck:
6" suspension lift $999.95
3" body lift $415.99
