What did you do before you discovered Yahoo Answers?

When I first started a year ago, I was on for maybe four hours a day, now I am on for about an hour or two...which is why it is now taking me forever to get to level 7. Before Answers, I would still maybe do a lot of web surfing, which I still do, along with working on my music database.

I'm on here 4-5 hours a day because I'm home on break and I have nothing better with which to amuse myself. When I'm actually at school, I'm on here for maybe an hour or two per week, if that. Before I discovered Yahoo Answers, I did a lot more knitting and watched a lot more useless TV than I do now. I work 4-6 hours a week as a newsletter editor when I'm at school and 5-10 hours a week babysitting when I'm not.

I read a lot, 4 or 5 books a week.
When I started out on answers, I spent maybe 2 hours a day, now I'm down to about an hour.
I no longer care about what level I am, the real value to me about answers is....
Finding the occasional honest question amongst the junk.
Getting very high quality answers to things which are important to me or can save me money.
The ability to search my subject on "search for questions" That is HUGE!!
In fact everybody should do a search on their question before asking it. Most of them have been answered hundreds of times.
Acne springs to mind.
I'm retired, but my brain has not retired.
Level means "nothing" this a great tool which can help your family if used with respect for others.

Ya mean there is something OTHER than Yahoo Answers?
Actually, after I discovered this place, I spent a lot of time on here answering questions, and giving good answers, which meant I got quite a few Best Answers, which helped me get to where I am, much more quickly..
Prior to Yahoo Answers, I talked to a lot of my friends on Messenger, and stumbled on Answers quite by accident.
I like helping people, sooo, it was easy to answer questions and get to level 5..
And no, I don't work, I'm retired..

One Yahoo Answers, about an hour a day. Before, I spent a lot of time on YouTube watching videos. Yes, I do work. But now I try to help people with computer questions, I am a "computer geek" and a webmaster.

I'm a professional with a 12 hour/day job... but I'm an insomniac.
Before Yahoo Answers I spent my time annoying people in other ways.

A lot of question a lot of work and did a lot of questions on the Holiday. Then a couple hours every orther day.
What did you do before you discovered Yahoo Answers
Ask me .com which was a better site before they closed.
