Prior to becoming a professional football player, Gould was a construction worker for M&R Contracting. Gould’s father was a professional soccer player for the St. Louis Steamers during the early 80s, and his brother, Christopher, is currently a kicker for the University of Virginia.
Hope this helps.....

Robbie Gould was the 3rd-all time point scorer at Penn State, then got cut from the Patriots in the pre-season and then worked construction with his friend before receiving a call from the Bears.

He was working construction, and yes he was pounding nails. This mentality kind of sums up Da BEARS and it's FANS, It's that hard working blue collar kick *** way we play and route for our team. If he could pound nails like he does footballs he was probably damn good at that too. GO BEARS!!!
