WHAT!! All of ya'll need to jump off the Gilbert Arenas Band wagon He has one good Season (Scoring Wise) and all of a sudden he's better than Kobe Bryant...... Please, Kobe Bryant Has proved time and time again that he can come in and score buckets on opponents like nothing the man has the second highest scoring game in NBA HISTORY!! has the second highest scoring average for a season behind none other than Michael jordan he's proved that he is one of the greatest scorers in NBA history but he's matured alot since last season he realizes that he doesn't need to come in dropping 40, 50 points to win games, he's trying to get his team more involved and he's getting them ready for the playoffs so they won't be just standing around watching Kobe all the time score all the buckets, now if the Wizards make the playoffs, it's going to be the opposite they're going to be just standing around watching Arenas do all the scoring and Lose (Basketball is Team sport) plus The Lakers have a better record than the Wizards.... Gee I wonder Why???

arenas, hes clutch at times, helps the team out and doesnt really do much fancy stuff than kobe but makes the shot when needed

right now gilbert. 2 game winning 3s,7 40 point and 3,50 point performances plus 30 plus per game for awhile. don't get me wrong kobe is great but gilbert is having a career year.

All-Time is Kobe no doubt. Arenas will never be as great as Kobe. but for right now i guess its him even though his team has a worser record than the Lakers

You gotta be kidding me...Arenas was UNKNOWN before this year....Arenas is hot right now but Kobe is a legend. Heard this before? Barkeley/Wade commercial
Tell me when Arenas win 3 championships....or scores 81 in a game. Plus Kobe has many more amazing shots in the PLAYOFFS and regular season in much more PRESSURE situations

I'm from DC so I'm partial to Arenas. But before this year he wasn't a huge name like he is this year. To be better I think you need consistent, long-termed performance. So Kobe gets my vote.

If I had to choose between them for MVP candidate (this'll probably never happen), it would be KOBE!!
He is leading a young team that is playing much better than the last two years...
