How do two caucasian lesbians decide on the first and last name for their son?

Same way any other couple does. Mixed-sex married couples have a hard time with the name thing, too, even last names. For the first name, get a baby name book, or look it up online.

For the last, you could hyphenate your two last names. (My wife and I have the same hyphenated last name.) Or if one of you is carrying the baby, your child can be given the other's last name.

usually you both keep trying to think of a name until you both come to a decision. I don't see what the deal is.
