I am not a aquarium novice. But, I mostly used an under gravel filter before upgrading to a larger tank and a diffrent filtration system.
The whisper 60 has two BIO filter cartridges (individual flow).
My ? is ... Should I change both at the same time or just one at a time ?
I do not want to kill/destroy the good bacteria that the old filter(s) cartridges has established.

No ... This is not a TetraTec 300/500 in which you would just "shuffle" the cartridges.

Yes ... This "new" tank was properly "cycled" .
If you own one of these, or if you have any information regarding my question, please answer.

Sorry I said ... individual flow. I meant dual flow, individual filter bag per flow.

They're pretty good, haven't used one myself, I just know from around the hobby and different groups. Yes, change at different times.

Good Luck.

I use to sell these filters and you want to switch only 1 at a time. Overall I would rate this filter a B. It is above average and will do a good job at keeping the tank clear. If you ever look for a different filter I would highly recommend the Marineland Bio-Wheel filter. It has a Bio-wheel that captures all of the bacteria and you never change the wheel, so you never lose any of your good bacteria.
