I just turned on the gas logs. it is 50 degrees here. I can't shut them off without getting a shock...what can I do???

Use something with a rubber handle to turn them off or rubber gloves if you have them.

leave them on and invite a friend over and ask them to go shut them off and don't tell them what they will get if they do it invite a few over and let them all take a turn and eventually you will get it turned off

Try an oven mit, to turn it off.
