I HATE WHAT I SEE TOO. Absolutely disgraceful and appalling.

Yeah, I think you need to include all races in this one. What about the sex trafficing in Asia? And eastern Europe? Those are young kids having sex and babies. The middle class white girls can afford to have abortions, so they still get pregnant at an early age. And I have seen a lot more white girls stripping than black. So maybe you should say what has happened to people.

its not only with black America, its AMERICA . you see this in all races. The morals, responsibility have depleted sharply. I blame the ACLU for many of the changes from the latter 60"s. Its a shame regardless of race, so see a young girl, going up and down the street, only to find her pushing a baby cart by herself the next year. Both parents do have the responsibility to teach their child, but today what does a young girl do, when her mother is on drugs, alcohol, and the father the same. They have no direction.. I hear many of them saying their parents are sleeping sometime all day, they can do what they want, they have no guidance and do usually refuse to accept their problems from someone else. Now there are exceptions, many a youth are advised but during the rebellious stage, they do not realize their actions, and to them , they think not of the consequences. The worst part I dislike, is they have the babies, too young to work, so their grandma or other relation has to bring them all up, its such a shame

I wish I could vote "Amazingly Intelligent" best answer. Well said and more of what needs to be said to the masses. I have said it before and will continue to shout it from the roof tops. It's sad we are being judged as people by a 60 second spot on the evening news. This country is in turmoil and who is up there taking those hits Colin Powell and then Condoleeza Rice. Right On my brother and sister.

I believe that your a product of your society take me for example i was raised around a majority of Mexicans and Asians so basically i don't act like "the norm for black people"??? i speak properly i don't like rap music.. and I'm told i act white too.. i think most of the black people you describe are that way because they don't know any better... and usually they don't have anyone to teach them anything better... and they were raised in that type of society or a society were people act just like them and have the same mentality so how do you expect them to act any better and most of the people who make it out the ghetto and make something of themselves have had a seed planted by someone...that showed them that there was more to life then the cards they've been dealt so those people get lucky and strive for more..

Please try and read this all the way through.
You're obviously feeling anger for whatever reason, you appear to be too young to fully understand the truth but I'l try and help you with the basics. I am from England and I am white. Actually I'm very white :D.
YOUR COUNTRY the US OF @SS is run by Fascist Nazis who are scared of being overthrown by the masses. A large minority in the US of @ss is the Black community. They wish to repress these people and stop them unifying. They don't only do it to black people they also do it to working class people in general. They then use the black people to put fear into other racist white people in order to control their minds (I imagine you won't understand that yet).
I'd like to help you understand something while I'm here though. black people and white people are the SAME and if anything Black people are more advanced than white people and I'l explain.
In evolutionary history THREE WAVES of humanoids left Africa to explore the world and settled in different parts of the world (Neanderthals for instance) BUT and here's the important part....the first two waves that left Africa were beaten by the guys who stayed BEHIND in Africa...they were taller and faster and smarter than say the Neanderthals who were very good in their cold northern climate but couldn't adapt and became SPECIALISED in only one field of survival....
So you see the African Guys who stayed BEHIND in Africa are who WE ALL come from...and if anything and history is anything to go by...they STILL ARE more evolved than us.
Please don't be angry anymore. You live in a very controlled country that tells you that you are all free but you aren't. Your Mum and Dad are only allowed to have 2 weeks holiday a year you know? where can you go in the world in that time? They want to keep most people in the country and not look OUTSIDE. 92% of americans do not have a passport you know? that's a lot really. Your mum and dad have to work ALL the time 'cos if they don't then you can;t have HEALTHCARE for when you get ill. In England you get that stuff for free...but they tell people like your mum and dad if that happens then you are less free.
Most americans don't like LIBERALS that means FREEDOM...and stuff. So do you see that doesn't make sense? Don't watch those TV shows that make you feel bad about other people...just remember that you live in a place that tells lies.
tata!

Well, look at who the media props up as role models for today's youth. Black or White, they don't have anyone with strong moral character to look up to. Rappers glorify drugs, violence, rape, and degradation of women, and athletes are always doing the wrong thing. Kids are bombarded with negativity, and they think it's normal. And to add to the problem, parents no longer have input. Weather they have given up or are too self absorbed, they just aren't parenting their kids.
It's also worth noting that the so-called leaders of the black 'community' like Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, and Shabaz, are too busy blaming all of the worlds problems on others, while they get rich from the donations of people who are only being told what they want to hear.
There is no longer personal responsibility in today's world. Very Very Sad.

Let's see? Tavis Smiley just came out with his autobiography. Barak Obama is in the senate and considering a run for the presidency. 600 young black men graduated from Moorehouse this last spring, among them was Denzel Washington's son. Tom Joyner is raising hundreds of thousands of dollars for students at historically black colleges. Agree with her politics or not, Ms. Rice is the first black female secretary of state. The list of positive news about blacks is endless.
What is going on in black America is the same as usual. While the best and brightest of us are making great strides in personal growth and for our country, people are focusing on the few who are leading misguided lives that excite the media and perpetuate the myth that we are all screwed up, hopeless and looking for a handout.
What did your post do to help dispel that myth? Think before you speak or put up with what you hear in return.

It's not just black America, it's all over the world. Issues like that exist everywhere it has nothing to do about being black or white or whatever. And about the girl you know that just had a baby, my cousin is 15 and she just had a boy today.

Pore blacks, pore whites. same crap. Trailer park is anybody making under 200,000 a year on a single income now. Welcome to the real world. Just google college girls. Either hooking or doing hustler porn videos.
As for the idea about parents not parenting their kids just look at your economy. To raise kids needs two working parents. The idea of a father bringing enough money in to support a family ended in the seventies. Thanks to equal rights and feminist activity women must work and can not afford to stop to have children. Oh Well?!

Um. Ah. The stripper is an adult woman. She makes her own decisions. And strippers come in all races and colors. Stripping one's way through college is actually pretty common--it's quick money if you don't do drugs. (And no, I've never done it, but that's only 'cause nobody would ask me.)
