Small talk does irritate me, but then again I am not a social person. Unless you have something to tell me or have something you want to discuss, don't bother saying anything.

Small talk with those I love and care about?
It never bothers me.
The memories may fade, but the warmth and feelings...last a life time.

I'm not very good at it, so I hate it. I don't mind if it's someone I'm friends with, but with people I only see occasionally I just can't be bothered. It's all so superficial, they obviously don't care about what I have to say and vice versa, so i just don't see the point in it.

Bugs the heck out of me. I know it's bad, but a lot of times I'll say something shocking or slightly inappropriate just to break through the inanity of small talk!

If I have nothing else pressing to do, I can handle small talk. But, I can't handle small talk with people who have stuff to do (or if I have stuff to do) and they are just procrastinating.

It can be very boring with people that you don't really know but that is not referring to you lol

it bothers me often...but i need to do it since im unoriginal. Plus its better then those awkward silences.
