All movies have either a good ending or bad ending, this one is why I would watch any Tom Hanks film, what would you do in his situation?
People say boring, but pay no attention, if you understand what the film tries to tell you, then you will like it a lot!

I recommend this movie. It's one of those, what if movies. It's interesting to see this modern man taken away from everything that he knows and is then force to survive on his own. Not only is he taken away from modernity but also human contact. It's like watching a twisted science experiment unfold.

Its a longggggg movie when he is on that island there is basically no talking......its not a bad movie but i wouldnt watch it twice.....watch it for ur wife he will love u long time
