i wanted to know because my freind told you probaly can i just wanterd to know

no way.
doing that would upset their balence.
hamsters are NOT carnivorous they eat fruits and vegies.
try it if you want to but i think it would be a waste of time and money.

Why would you want to? It's much cheaper to stick with hamster food. Besides, crickets get all over the house no matter what type of cage you have for the hammies. I have a frog and 2 geckos who eat crickets and no matter what I do I usually find 1 or 2 crickets that have escaped.

Do you mean hamsters? If so, I fed mine meal-worms and they loved them. You just need to cut the heads off first; keeps the meal-worms from injuring the inside of the hamster's stomach. I'm sure crickets would be fine if you think they could catch them.
